Ordering and delivery
Which medicines does BioCyn distribute?
We distribute oncology medicines in five categories: oncology, biosimilars, immunotherapy, chemotherapy and supportive care. To check a specific product, send us its name and strength and we will confirm availability.
Where in Pakistan do you deliver?
We deliver across Pakistan through a nationwide network from our base in Lahore. Tell us your city and we will confirm the delivery timing for it.
How do I place an order?
Use the order form on this website, message us on WhatsApp or call us. We reply with availability, price and a delivery time, and the order is confirmed once you agree.
Can I track my order?
Yes. Orders are tracked from dispatch to delivery, and your BioCyn contact can tell you where a shipment is at any point.
How long does delivery take?
It depends on the medicine and the destination. We give you a delivery date before you commit, and we tell you straight away if anything changes.
Cold chain and quality
What is a cold chain, and why does it matter?
A cold chain keeps a medicine within its labelled temperature range from the manufacturer to the patient. Many cancer medicines are biological products that lose potency if they get too warm or freeze, and the damage cannot be seen by looking at the vial.
What temperature are medicines kept at?
Each medicine is stored at the condition on its label. Many biological medicines are refrigerated at 2 to 8 degrees Celsius; others are kept at controlled room temperature.
What does Good Distribution Practice mean?
Good Distribution Practice, or GDP, is the set of quality standards for storing and transporting medicines so that their quality and integrity are maintained throughout the supply chain.
For patients
Do I need a prescription?
Yes. Prescription medicines are supplied only against a valid prescription from a registered doctor. You can share a clear photo of it on WhatsApp.
Can a family member order for me?
Yes. A family member or caregiver can send the prescription, agree the delivery and receive the medicine on your behalf.
How should I store my medicine at home?
Follow the storage instructions on the pack. If it says to refrigerate, keep it in the main part of the fridge, not in the door and never in the freezer. Ask your pharmacist or treating team if you are unsure.
Can BioCyn advise me about my treatment?
No. We supply medicines and cannot give medical advice. Questions about doses, side effects or treatment choices should go to your oncologist.
